Analysis Guadeloupe

During my readings on the city of Guadeloupe, I learned that it is a "sister island". Before Columbus landed there in 1493, the original people who lived there from 300 AD to the 8th century were known as the Arawak who were displaced by the group known as the Caribs starting in the 8th century until the French sent a group to settle the island in 1635. During slave the slaves would work on sugar and coffee fields. Guadeloupe is a very diverse country a lot of French and African stay there.Since the island is an overseas department of France, the official language is French. There are two main islands that make up the territory of Guadeloupe, Basse-Terre Island and Grande-Terre which are separated by a thin strip of sea which is called the Salt River.Guadeloupe is tropical island.Guadeloupe is tropical with temperatures moderated by trade winds. From January to June its hot and after that the rest of the year it's wet. The rest of the year is wet. Guadeloupe has been devastated by several hurricanes and tropical storms. It's currency is euro and it is in North America. Guadeloupe is a very good vacation spot. It is very well know for it's famous dance called the beguine which, is performed in a colorful creole dress. There are regular flights to Guadeloupe from Miami, Montreal and Paris. All the islands in Guadeloupe range from 600 square miles and it takes a minute to travel to different islands. The islands that are inside of it have a lot of different cultures, that range from music to ancient stones. Each of the islands that are a part of Guadeloupe have different cultural events. If you want to travel to it, you would have to go by a car between the two main islands. The center of the islands economy is made up by the France government service. Guadeloupe is a very amazing place to travel to and just have fun.

About me

My name is Isaiah Alexander, I like to go by Zay. I'm a student at Georgia Gwinnett College and I'm from Atlanta. I love to play video games and my favorite games to play is the basketball 2k19 and and Madden 19 the football game. My favorite thing to do is just have fun with my family and staying around the house because I do not have a lot of friends. I just love to talk although it hard for me to express how I feel to people sometimes. I only have classes on Tuesday and Thursdays and usually when I get home the first thing I try to do is start on my work for the next class to stay ahead so if I don't understand something I have time to email or talk with my instructors. I like English although sometimes things can be hard to understand, but I pray that will not be the case this semester and I pass this class with flying colors.
